| 2013 DAS Series Championship 18-hour AR - OFFICIAL RESULTS - *Race worth 15 Bonus Points in USARA point series Come out and join us for the series final of the 2013 Delmarva Adventure Sports Adventure Race Series! Join us for an unforgettable 18-hour overnight course! Race check-in starts at 5:00 PM on Friday, August 9, with a start time 4 hours later at 9:00 PM on Friday night. Teams will have 18 hours until 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 10 to complete as much of the mandatory race course and bonus checkpoints as they can! This race features some of the most beautiful areas of Sussex County, DE, most of which have never seen an adventure racer before! Expect an AWESOME race course, with challenging night-time navigation, unique, one-of-a-kind challenges, UTM plotting, and plenty of strategic decisions to make with many optional checkpoints in all 3 disciplies! This course is designed to give racers of all skill levels an exciting 18 hour experience, with a rogaine format offering shorter course options for slower, newer teams, and many optional bonus checkpoints that will keep even that fastest teams on the course occupied for the full 18 hours! In addition to earning points in the Delmarva Adventure Sports Race Series, the DAS Series 18-hour Adventure Race is one of only a handful of races in 2013 that is part of the USARA's point series, Checkpoint Tracker's point series, and the North American Adventure Racing's point series! This means that teams will be able to earn points in 3 different NATIONAL race series all in this one event!
