| 2013 SCAR 12-hour AR MANDATORY GEAR Come out and join us for the second race of the 2013 Delmarva Adventure Sports Adventure Race Series! Join us for an unforgettable 12-hour course in beautiful Sussex County, DE! The 2013 SCAR features a brand new course, not crossing paths with any part of last year's SCAR AR course. Teams will have 12 hours to complete as much of the mandatory race course and bonus checkpoints as they can! HELMET CAM from 2012 SCAR 12-hr AR in Laurel, DE This course is designed to give racers of all skill levels an exciting 12 hour experience, with short course options for slower, newer teams, and many optional bonus checkpoints that will keep even that fastest teams on the course occupied for the full 12 hours! In addition to earning points in the Delmarva Adventure Sports Race Series, the SCAR 12-hour Adventure Race is one of only a handful of races in 2013 that is part of the USARA's point series, Checkpoint Tracker's point series, and the North American Adventure Racing's point series! This means that teams will be able to earn points in 3 different NATIONAL race series all in this one event!
